Scanning

Our high-resolution flatbed and drum scanning equipment captures excellent detail and accurate color from:

• flat artwork (drawings, paintings, mechanicals, photographic prints)

• 35mm slides and negatives
• 4 x 5” or 8 x 10” transparencies
• even 3-Dimensional objects

We also provide expert manual color correction, image adjustment, scaling and cropping, dust and scratch removal, despeckling, and red-eye removal, using the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and advanced Adobe Photoshop plug-in software.

State-of-the-art color calibration equipment then saves the color information (ICC profiles, ColorSync) so what you see on the computer monitor accurately represents what will ultimately appear on your website or in your printed piece.

We can output our scans to a variety of graphic formats for web or print at resolutions from 72ppi (for the Web) up to 4000 ppi (for high resolution film output).

Reproduction

[Color Copies via Laser]

Our 1200 dpi Xerox Tektronix color laser printers produce state-of-the-art full color output that rivals a magazine ad slick. Stunning print quality combined with economical cost makes this a perfect solution for short-run full color brochures, materials for conferences, small posters and anything else that you don’t need tens of thousands of!
With support for the latest Adobe PostScript 3, we can proof your color separations and produce camera-ready line art and finely detailed output for spot-color reproduction.

Of course, we not only reproduce these types of printed materials: with support for Adobe PageMaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Deneba Canvas, Macromedia Freehand, and Quark Xpress, our page layout designers can create just about any kind of printed piece you could think of...see our web section on Print for more details.

[Inkjet]

Our inkjet printers produce the highest quality output for comps, prints from scans or digital cameras, and fine art prints. Our Epson printers create photographic quality prints on glossy paper, with resolutions up to 2880 dpi, and sizes up to 24" x 20'. The newest Epson machines use the ground-breaking Epson Archival Ink System, which promises fine art print longevity of 200 years or more! We can also print on a variety of media, from plain #20 bond to transparencies for overheads to a range of artist papers...including canvas!
